Thanks Fettle. Same top pick as Spider- very nice! Also liked 7a and 2d, but in 7a I would have preferred ‘covers’ after recently digesting PostMark’s feedback to Kempley’s 10a clue; and the other way in 2d, which is a ‘plonker’ clue- I’d have gone for ‘changed’ to indicate ‘girth when anagrammed’ - your version suggests the ‘increase’ is somehow changing the ‘girth’. Hope that makes sense!
