A total blast! One of the clues that resisted the longest is my fave: 22d - what a banger. Other faves almost too many to mention, what with clever, tricky charades and fun definitions but here are a few: 4a,14a,19a,25a,28a and 1d,3d,16d,20d.
Great stuff Ruskin, thanks. A most fitting featured puzzle. I found this pretty chewy (3 out of 4 on Raider’s new scale, but that includes some rounding down!) with just a tiny bit of help required, ultimately, in the tricky SW. Favourites: 1a, 14a, 22a, 3d, 5d and 10d
