Thanks Angel, this really was a little gem. Nothing too obscure but even the easier ones, like the hiddens, were subtly phrased and a delight to resolve. Personal favourites were 5a, 12a, 15a, 19a, 28a, 1d, 6d (agree with Kateh), 16d ( a proper lol!) and 20d. I did the same as PM with 5d but hey. A worthy flag to fly for the good ship MyC!

Thanks Angel for an enjoyable way to begin the week. I like easy-to-read clues and there were plenty of those. Favourites included 12a, 27a, 6d, 21d, and 23d. I failed with 25a and couldn't parse 7d but all else fell into place rather quickly.

Well done Angel I really enjoyed the puzzle - some nice starters in there for a newbie like me - was a pleasant hour nursing a cool beer with pencil and a print out - 1a was a great way in and I loved 9a once I got it, 19a was nicely done as was 23a and 25a was a nice twist on a classic - absolutely loved 28a a real belter! 3d, 5d, 14d & 20d were very nicely weighted - I loved 16d & 6d was very, very cool - it is very difficult to set such an elegant grid - you should be proud of this one!

That was thoroughly enjoyable - thankyou! Favourites if I had to narrow it down were 5a, 19a, 23a, 25a, 27a, 6d, 16d and of course 9a!

Will just add to the appreciative feedback Angel. Mostly gentle as others have said, with the odd curve ball to keep me on my toes. I particularly appreciated 9a (esp for the Aussie vibe), 16a, 25a*, 4d, 6d, 18d among others (* is that Gennaro for instance might prefer seasonal substitution). A couple I solved without fully parsing, have yet to look up explanations to check my understanding. Will have a look at 15x15 too. Congrats on the feature!

Late to the party here but this was a fun solve, just the right difficulty level for me!
