Cryptic crossword No 84

Crikey mate, I did find that a difficult one! Got there in the end but was glad of your annotations to explain a few of them :-) I really liked 27a and 16d.

That's a bit tough for me. Quite a lot of unparsed answers. Mostly found the bottom half easier to get going, with some helpful starting points. I think 2d and 16d are my favourites.

Great stuff, Panthera! Amazed not to see a filthier clue for 23d 😄 Thanks for puzzle, you do some very clever things but never unfair or impossible for even my level.

Definitely a few facepalm moments after finally working out the parsings! Excellent stuff.

Thanks for this Panthera, some nice points but overall a bit too tough! 'Like's for 4a, 11a (once I figured out the wordplay), 22a, 25a, 27a, 28a, 2d, 9d, 16d, 24d - a fairly arbitrary selection but you can see I enjoyed much of it .... (now for the SPOILERS)
