Cryptic crossword No 83

No-one else commented yet? Pity about that: this is an excellent puzzle, thanks Laguna! It's hard to pick out a favourite, just too many to like - I'll mention 24a for sheer chutzpah, likewise 2d. But they're all good. Just a couple of minor points (SPOILERS...)

Thanks Laguna. I don’t know what it says about me, but my two favourites are 24a and 2d! I also like 10a, 11a, 7d. The surfaces are all good, even when there’s some complex stuff going on in the wordplay - see 1a and 8d, both of which I admire too.
