Excellent Bairbre - you’ve really improved the surfaces in this one and there are some really neat clues. My favourites were 1d 5d, 6d, 20d and 21a. The last two of those really made me smile!

Thanks Bairbre, that was a lot of fun with a few head-scratching moments. Favourite clues were 16a, 17a, 1d, 3d and 19d. Special mention for 4a which was the last to go in and had me completely stumped until the penny dropped!

Thanks Bairbre. This was a lovely puzzle with many great clues...

Thank you, all three, for the positive comments. Having started “setting ” just 10 weeks ago I am now totally hooked on it. Many thanks to the facilitators!

Thank you Bairbre for this puzzle which I enjoyed. As Laguna said, the surfaces are getting there now - well done! I liked pretty much all of it, though special mention to 11a, 12a, 24a, 1d, 3d, 5d, 6d, 7d, 20d. I’m still to parse 4a and 15a.

Thanks Bairbre - I think that's your best puzzle yet. Lots of lovely surfaces, my favourites were 1d, 3d, 5d, 12a, 17a and 24a. Also loved the definition in 13a.

Much to like here and an enjoyable solve, thanks Bairbre. Sorry I'm a bit behindhand in posting feedback! Only one or two negative comments. A good surface - especially one which misdirects - is always welcome: I'll single out 13a (one of my hobbies) and 20d (never having worn a kilt, don't know how true the surface is!). Also ticks for 1a, 11a, 12a, 15a (yes I figured out which 'American bar' it is!), 16a, 17a, 24a, 25a, 26a, 3d, 5d, 19d. Now a few points (SPOILERS....)
