Thank you sirdakka, for an outstanding puzzle full of cunning and wit. To maintain a theme throughout every clue is no mean feat. I did stumble over some of the more obscure solutions but the wordplay was scrupulously fair. 25a is absolutely brilliant, my clue of the month. 1a 11a 26a and 30a, and 2d 4d 7d and 22d also got double ticks. Looking forward to your next one.

Great stuff sirdakka! I thought Bottom had a monopoly on this theme but you have slipped proudly into it. It must have been hard to keep it up throughout. Some rather chewy parts but also loads that were immense such as 11A, 15A, 25A, 30A, 31A, 4D, 5D, 8D, 19D and 27D.

Mucky Thursday, Filthy Thursday, Rude Thursday ... Not sure this should become an institution but fun to encounter this sirdakka. And your usual wit and fiendish imagination very much in evidence - in more than one way. I find I'm having to pick words very carefully to avoid inadvertent double entendres. Favourites include: 1a (lovely def), 10a (great image), 15a (I'm sure that's an unfair slur!), 25a (the usual bit of sirdakka magic), 26a (very clever), 29a (neat), 31a (true!) Continued...

Nice one, sirdakka. As with Bottom, I like that you’ve treated this as a “serious” crossword despite a very silly theme. One or two of the clues feel a bit forced to me, but I think that’s in the nature of any surface theme, not just this one, and on the whole the clues are very well formed. Favourites were 15a, 31a, 2d, 8d
