I struggled with the homophone in 3D but maybe that’s down to different accents? I pronounce 3D as dis-pair. A couple of other really small niggles are the “of” in 2D and the “as” in 10A. I’m not sure that either word fits where placed within the clues, which tends to make solving more difficult. But these are tiny points in a lovely puzzle - thanks!

Very nice overseer! 14a's invisible join, reinforced by further unexpected phrasing requirements, makes it my top fave: sooo deftly slightly skewed. 12a, 19a, 5d, 8d, 23d (!) nice too. And a clever stretch with the almost visual Spoonerism. Great puzzle, thanks.

The first one showing was supposed to be a reply to a non-spoiler-filled comment, congratulating you on an excellent puzzle full of invention and some brilliant anagrams. As it is, I’ve posted some miserable spoilers as a top level comment without any context or words of praise preceding it! Sorry - I’ve been around here long enough that this shouldn’t have happened!

Thanks overseer, an enjoyable puzzle with some interesting/devious tricks - I'm looking at you 23d. Wouldn't have parsed that in 1000 years, very clever though. Favourite clues were 1a, 12a, 21a (lovely misdirection), 5d and 16d.

Nice one overseer. Had good fun with this puzzle. Found a few went above my head… 13d, wow, genius, but too clever for my limited brain capacity. Absolutely not a complaint, loved seeing what I’d missed! 1d is excellent. Other favourites were 14a 10a and the lovely 6d. Thanks
