A thoroughly enjoyable solve. 9A was a fantastic way to start the puzzle - a great find. Other favourites include the recursive surface of 10A, the neatness of 15A, the all-too familiar image that 8D conjured and how succinct 20D is. Thanks very much Angel! Further comments in reply.

A lovely puzzle, Angel, thanks. 10A is a brilliant spot and big ticks also for 15A, 29A, 7D, 11D and 20D.

I liked this a lot. No quibble about 25a which I thought was great, though 9a was the stand-out clue.

Nice one Angel, echo the praise for 9A, 10A, 29A and 20D. 25A is an old joke where I grew up, nice to see it given a whirl. SPOILER in reply

Thanks Angel, this was fun to solve. I love clues like 10a, very nicely done. Other favourites were 9a, 23a, 7d, 20d and 22d.

Finally got round to this yesterday evening... Very enjoyable, thanks Angel.

Hi Angel, I’ve been catching up with some solving lately and just stopped in to say thought 20d excellent, v clever and neat. Loved 18a for the Keats fans! My other favourites were 7d 9a 11d and the cunning 14a! Thanks
