Cryptic crossword No 503

Thanks Jeemz - that’s a very accomplished first puzzle on this site. Took me quite a while and a few reveals but got there in the end! Lots of inventive clues. I particularly liked 1A, 24A (think I’ve seen similar quite a while ago but very nicely executed), 2D, 3D and 19D. Minor spoilery quibbles in reply.

Thanks Jeemz, this was enjoyable to solve. Many fun clues, I'll pick out 11a, 23a, 27a (I love denoted here), 3d (nice that all 3 parts have different meaning in the surface), 17d and 22d.

Thanks, Jeemz. That was an enjoyable puzzle, with some excellent clues - I think my favourites were 10a, 27a and 4d. Personally I thought 19d was a bit weak, but that is probably my work history talking ;-). Spoilers in reply.
