Wonderful! Favourites include 29a, 9d, 11a, 21d for the surfaces, and the genius in 6d. All great stuff.

Delightful. I'm not convinced by the definition in 13a, but I thought 12a, 27a, 28a was quite superb (obscure answer - clear wordplay), and I really liked 11a, 17a, 26a, cd, 7d, 9d and 21d. One further comment put in a reply because it contains a spoiler.

Very nice, Liari - always enjoy learning about new (to me) varieties of 28a from your puzzles. 9d is the standout clue for me - lovely find. Also particularly liked 17a, 6d

Lovely approachable puzzle Liari with everything falling very nicely into place when i followed your instructions. Undone by a couple of unknowns (3d and 11a) and you beat me fair and square with 6d. Favourites include: 1a, 13a (once I understood def), 17a, 29a, 7d, 9d, 21d. Spoiler in Reply.

Finally found some time to complete this Liari. Great fun and challenging (for me at least). Once I started to get crossers, I often found myself suddenly seeing the answer and wondering how I’d not spotted it before, which I think is down to neat surfaces misdirecting me on several occasions. When the clues finally revealed themselves, there were plenty of smiles. To pick some favourites, I really enjoyed 6d 7d (both delightful in different ways) 11a 17a 9d and 21d. Thanks for a lovely puzzle
