Cryptic crossword No 447

Not started this but thought it might be helpful to share that you can fix linked clues word lengths by putting an extra space at the end of the constituent answers, then the software puts in the correct word delineation. This must have been a dastardly grid fill!

Nice one Haven, you've definitely tightened up your clueing, and have some good ideas here. I thought that many clues were excellent and particularly enjoyed 10A, 11A, 15A, 20A (thought it might benefit from a '?'), 23A (excellent!) 7D (nice anagram) and 14D (again excellent!)

Thanks for the puzzle Haven, I think this is the first of yours I've completed and there are some wonderful clues here. I particularly liked 10a (very efficient), 19a (clever, but parsing stumped me til I checked your annotations), 20a (another wonderfully neat clue), 22a (likewise), 23a, 24a, 3d and 17d. Hi Haven. As others have said, continued improvement - with a couple of appearances from old Haven possibly in there too! I'll return to that briefly in Reply. But I ticked plenty as soundly constructed and fair, even if some of them were tricky: 8a, 10a, 11a, 15a, 16a (lol), 20a, 23a (super), 24a, 14d, 17d are all perfectly good clues in my book. And credit for the long ones: 1d and 2d are very neat. Spoilers in Reply
