Cryptic crossword No 443

After a brief hiatus I'm back! Any feedback warmly welcomed as always :)

Good to see you back suka, especially with such an enjoyable puzzle. I didn't know some of the foreign (I should qualify - to me that is) vernacular or a couple of GK references but that's my problem not yours. I particularly liked 11A, 20A, 29A, 4D, 6D (good spot), 7D (lol for the surface), 8D (double tick for being so precise),18D (being one of the drinking English who never tidies up) and 23D (that one I did know). Well done!

Hi suka and welcome back. You'd probably feel quite comfortable in the temperatures we're having in Central England right now - but we are a long way from the sea! I recall you're in early days - this was very accomplished with lots to admire. Favourites include: 11a, 13a, 20a, 21a, 3d, 6d (best of the bunch), 7d (very funny), 15d (nice for a short word), 18d.

That was a lovely puzzle suka, I think the first of yours I've attempted - some lovely surfaces (15a, 4d, 7d LOL), satisfying wordplay (13a, 21a, 22a, 5d, 6d, 7d) and a good fun challenge all round, well done!
