Very neatly clued, particularly enjoyed 11A, 12A, 13A, 17A, 25A 28A, 5D and 20D.

Great gridding and clueing, love the cross ref from 13a to 8d and 29a is nice and very you!

Nice puzzle Skirwingle though I ran out of general knowledge so had to reveal some towards the end. Quite a number of new words to me so I certainly felt rather dim by the time I'd finished. 14a, 17a, 24a, 23d particularly nice.

Great fun Skirwingle - thanks. I enjoyed the theme and the way you clued tricky words in a gettable way. Lots of fun surfaces with 12A my favourite.

This is excellent, Skirwingle, really well done. A couple of words that were new to me but all very fairly clued so I could still solve them (2d, 20d and 18d 22d - know what it is, didn’t know it was called that!). Favourites were 12a, 13a, 24a, 25a, 5d, 16d.

Great stuff Skirwingle. Excellent grid-fill - I count 15 themed entries (there may be more I can't... see ;) ) plus plenty of allusions in the surface, really well done. Favourite clues were 14a (Greek character is a clever piece of misdirection), 21a, 24a, 6d and 16d.

Finally got round to doing this one - so glad I did. Learnt a lot of new words: 25a, 2d, 16a, 21a, 20d, even 5a, but all were clued very fairly indeed. What an enjoyable puzzle - particularly liked 24a, 28a, 16d, 17d, among others. Well done Skirwingle.
