Cryptic crossword No 417

Excellent and topical! I especially enjoyed 17a and 15d, and the surface of 18d is just incredible. Spoiler in reply.

Brilliant puzzle, Alf, with a topical theme very adeptly handled. Loads of great clues, my top favourites being 17A, 24A, 4d, 18D and 22D. A couple of quibbly queries in the reply.

Nice one, Alf, some absolutely superb clues here, and lovely funny surfaces that made me laugh out loud. Favourites were 20a, 25a, 18d, 19d, 22d

Lovely puzzle, Alf! Wonderful surfaces, many bringing a laugh, with particular favourites being 8a, 13a (read as a down clue), 20a, 24a, 25a, 1d, 2d, 5d, 15d, 16d, 19d (impressive!), 22d and 23d - hard to pick just a few!
