Hello everyone, this is my first submission for your consideration and I'd very much welcome any and all feedback

This was a great debut crossword! I particularly liked 23a, 28a, 5d, 15d, 30d. The wordplay is good, but some clues were a little odd in surface, like 21a, 7db and 30a (others were fantastic, like 17d). I'm also not sure on a couple indicators like in 6d and 7d; and a very minor point is that some link words I find more "directional" and you've used them in double definitions like 17d or the "wrong" way like 29d. Overall a very enjoyable puzzle! I only knew 28a and 23a for the theme. Thank you!

Great debut, Emvee, well done! Favourites included 9a, 10a, 23a (although the "a" is only there for the surface and the clue should ideally be reworked to remove it), 28a, 3d and 15d. A couple of other issues...
