Thanks Baldur for a good set of clues with my top picks being 10a, 11a, 14a, 2d, 13d, and 16d. I found the top half a breeze, the bottom half more of a challenge. I used the check button from time to time to arrive at the solutions and I needed your notes to understand 20a, 23a, 24a, and 18d. Overall, however, a satisfying puzzle for me.

Thanks Baldur- that was chewy in places. I enjoyed 9a, 17a, 2d, 8d, and 16d especially. Struggled to parse 23a, and 18d, but guessed from crossers and definitions.

Reasonably chewy as per, Baldur. 7d and 14d are new to me and I feel 6d would have benefited from a US identifier. Faves inc 12a, 24a (COTD), 2d, 5d and 8d. Thanks. PM
