Hi Baz, thanks for this. I found about half of this straightforward and half quite tricky, with a couple of DNPs. I liked 15a, 23a, 26a, 8d, 13d (SUPERB definition) and 18d. A couple of quibbles:

Thanks Baz, lots to like here. Luckily 20a was familiar territory or it might have caught me out! And without the crossers I doubt I’d have got 25a, both for synonym and Spoonerism reasons. Also agree with Orinoco re 1d. But all else hunky dory, with particular faves being 10a, 11a, 12a, 14a (take a bow for first mate), 19a, 8d and 9d. Cheers!

Thanks Baz for an enjoyable workout as I staggered my way through, thrown by some inventive definitions. 25a didn't work for me as a Spoonerism sorry, as to my ear, it's 'sen dity'. My favourites were 10a, 14a, 20a, 3d, 13d.

I think I'm with Orinoco - half smooth and half a bit of a head scratcher, but overall fun. Fave clue was 9d (very neat), and I also liked 7a,11a (quite the picture),14a, 3d,13d,24d
