Thanks Sisyphus. I didn't see the message till I'd almost completed the grid and the sentiments are of course, reciprocated. Needed crossers for 9a and the nho 24d/21d. Favourites were 10a, 11a, 19a, 23a, 6d, 14d and naturally, 28a .

Thanks for this Sisyphus. I found it hard initially to get onto your wavelength, but once I did, things started to fall nicely into place, nothwithstanding some NHOs. 3a, 20a & 8d make up my podium. ...

What a surprise! Your lovely message revealed itself in time to give me some needed nudges, as well. Some very twisty stuff added to the fun, and I will admit, some of the parses escaped me, even though I stumbled to the answers. Many faves, among them: 6a,11a,13a,1d,6d (!),8d,22d

Thanks Sisyphus. I found this quite hard, but that’s down to my inept solving – the clues are all fair and I liked eg 11a, 26a, 3d and 6d. Nice theme and nina too! (And on a personal level, glad not to have been groped again...).

Hi Sisyphus. That was pretty hard for me but worth persevering with. Although 24d/21d beat me, I was able to get the rest with the help of your lovely message. My hat tip goes to the excellent definition in 10a. Also really liked 20a, 3d, 6a (stumped me for ages!) and your themed entries

Thanks Sisyphus for a clever crossword with a special message that helped with my solve. My only miss was 10a and my parsing failures were limited to 9a, 15a, and 22d. Favourites included 7a, 17a, 27a, 3d, and 6d. Overall I found this more accessible than your previous offering.

NHO 21d or 25d and was defeated by Mandelbrot, but should have got it from the parsing if I'd been a bit sharper. I solved 9a from the first half of the clue, but the tube bit puzzled me. 6a, 13a, 15a (clever!), 26a, and of course 2d were favourites. (Sorry- we've had guests so I got to this late.)
