Very nice, Dynamite- overall I found this an accessible, engaging and classy puzzle! Faves included 11a, 13a, 19a, 24a, 4d, 16d, & 18d. I briefly toyed with a different 3 letter word in 12a that would have also worked. Re your question about 17d, I guess it’s a matter of religious persuasion! Whether &lit or not it’s maybe a bit open-ended- I wondered if starting with ‘Sun god…’ might have focused the meteorological aspect a bit more as well as giving the solver a kick start… And with your 25a

Thanks Dynamite for the puzzle. I found it straightforward thanks to your clear clues and some very good surfaces, e.g. 1d. My picks are 1a (I like the sentiment), 13a, 11a, 1d, 2d and 24a. I'm not sure 24d's synonym for bistro is exact? I'd never heard of 9a but it was gettable. Thanks again.

Thanks, Dynamite, I found that mostly within my comfort zone and was only defeated by 13a. I really liked 10a, 11a, 22a, 24a, 20d (simple but effective) and 23d.
