Very fun puzzle, well done! Favorite clues were 16a, 28a, 2d, 4d, 17d, and 21d. 5d is technically a no-no because you cannot use "cut" or similar deletion indicators to remove two letters without explicitly specifying that's what is being done. But overall solid work and enjoyable to solve!
