Was there a theme? As you’ll see from my favourites, *something* went down well: 7a, 10a, 12a, 15a, 19a, 20a, 26a and 17d. Some might say you haven’t picked the usual spelling in 16d, but from the Yorkshire south, who am I to say? Cheers Pentman, much appreciated!

Thank you Pentman. Good puzzle. The wine theme was fun but you necked the lot before you got to the down clues! Fave clues for me 7a, 11a, 12a, 2d, 13d. 23a and 1d both feel like they need "city in"/"town in" - as you do in 4d. In 21d, I'd have let you off without bothering to include the "two" but I can see why you thought you'd better stick it in. Sante!
