Now that wasn’t TOO hard but it certainly was fun! Hit the ground running with the wonderful acronym indicator in 4a, with further highlights being 14a, 16a (ah Derek!), 23a, 3d (maybe ‘the’ superfluous?), 8d and 18d. I’d say 11a broke with the convention to clue hard words with easy clues, but I was pleased when I found I was right! Thanks Pentman! I’ll leave it to Fez to go below the belt 😄

Thanks Pentman, another enjoyable puzzle. As always you've served up some weird and wonderful words among the solutions; and there are lots of good clues, with 16a, 23a, 1d, 7d, 18d and 22d my favourites. Like Sisyphus, I'm always pleased to see a cricket reference!

Hi Pentman. This was quite a workout for me but very enjoyable. Big fan of 6d, 18d, 23a, 16a and 24a (which was interesting to see as I had just clued something similar)

Thanks, Pentman, that was pretty much in my sweet spot. Favourites included 14a 20a 25a (great def!) 2d (for a very wordy clue I thought it was excellent) and 19d. I couldn't completely parse 4a or 11a but they both bunged in ok.

Thanks Pentman, I enjoyed this with favourites being 26a, 1d, 8d, 13d, and 18d. I revealed 12a and 3d but managed the rest.

A bit slow completing this Pentman, but enjoyable in two different bursts of activity. I particularly enjoyed 20a, 23a, 26a, 4d, 13d, 15d among others. Struggled with a couple of obscure references (I'm not a cricket aficionado, nor familiar with Yorkshire rivers etc.) and had to do a couple of letter reveals to get unstuck. But got there in the end and enjoyed the journey, so thanks!
