Thanks Raider, it's always a pleasure seeing your name on a crossword. I found this very enjoyable with my favourites being 1a, 16a, 27a, 28a, and 6d. My only stumble was 23a. And happy 40th to 27a!
Bit late to this but really enjoyed it. Can't say it was too easy, particularly 4a, however all great constructions and creativity of surfaces. My cotd is 18d closely followed by 7d, 14a, 22d, 28a, 20d and 27a, thanks Raider.
A very enjoyable crossword, thanks Raider. Lots of great clues to choose from, I'll pick out 5a (always like this use of names, likewise in 25d), 23a (excellent), 9d (of course 🎉), 15d and 18d.
As others have said, a real pleasure to see two of yours in short order. Beaten by LOI 6d which just would not come to mind. And 17a only fell at the very last moment when I was thinking I was gonna have to press Reveal! 11a, 17a, 28a, 9d, 18d and 25d my faves. Thanks. PM
