This was hugely entertaining Gennaro. The celeb eluded me until the last clue went in. I was very taken with 11a, 13a (a delightful tea tray clue), 24a, 2d and 15d but really there wasn’t a hair out of place throughout. Many thanks!

Thanks Gennaro for a great crossword with a brilliant hidden extra! My standout clues were 6a, 13a, 14a, 3d, 4d, 16d, 18d, and 21d (nice device which I must remember to use myself someday.) A factual question…

Well my fave is 13a, because my mind just works like that, others include 11a,19a,25a (lovely surface), and 4d,8d,15d. Only saw the Nina after seeing a comment, but very nice indeed. Thanks, G. (Missed you last week)

Thanks Gennaro. That was a very steady solve. The significance of the SI remains a mystery to me for now. Will revisit in the morning to see if the penny drops.

Hi Gennaro. This was great fun - love the hidden extras in your grids. Big fan of the devices used in 16d and 26a and the neat surface for 12a
