Thanks Umpire, and congratulations for filling a tricky grid! Personally I find so many 15 letter clues a bit daunting- maybe I’m just a quick fix junkie. But they weren’t all anagrams and the wordplay, though intricate, was consistently excellent throughout the puzzle. 12a beat me but an exciting new discovery! And even though Liari has kindly test solved for me I missed the connection in 18a. Otherwise all good, with faves being 1a, 10a, 13a, 23a, 2d, & 7d. Cheers!

Excellent stuff. Quite a daunting grid with six 15s but as is often the way, I got most of those through def/enum and back-parsed. Left side went in a lot quicker than the right, which required a rest and a second visit. Loved 18a, CotD. Also liked 10a, 11a, 17a and 22a. Both 12a and 20a were new to me but so cleanly clued that I managed to work them out and look them up afterwards - a sign of good clueing, that. Thanks!

Nice solid puzzle. Good to see you back here and so soon after I've solved another of yours elsewhere. I was only unable to parse the Liari mention. Faves inc 1a, 11a, 17a, 3d and 7d. Thanks. PM

Hi Umpire, thanks for this puzzle, I agree with the others you made an excellent job of those long down clues. Like Henri I found the left side to be much quicker going in but everything eventually followed. So much to like it's hard to pick favourites but 10a, 22a, 2d and 7d top top list. Cheers
