Hi Orinoco, nice to see you back and yes, I do think you’ve hit your brief. I was beaten by 13a and 24a (missed the allusions) but otherwise everything went in smoothly, with a nice balance of clues and lots to appreciate. Obviously I had a tick for 11a! Also particularly liked 15a, 23a, 6/8d, 16d, & 17d. Cheers!

Thanks Orinoco. I found that the top half went in quickly and then I slowed down. It took a while to realise 21a, I didn't get 24a and couldn't parse 22a. My favourites were 10a (COTD), 4d, 6d/d, 11a, 13a, 17d
