Ah, Monday morning: Gennaro’s in his place and all’s right with the world! Great hidden extra, which I guessed early from the image but decided to ignore for the sake of a chewier challenge. In the end everything went in pretty smoothly, with faves including 6a, 18a (nice twist in the tail), 1d, 3d (clever musical misdirection with measures) and 15d (quietly shared indeed!) Slight eyebrow twitch with ‘for starters’ in 5d but this isn’t a formal challenge 😊 Thanks for the moment!

That time again! Nice work Gennaro, as ever. I particularly appreciated 5a, 11a, 21a, 24a, 16d, 20d among others, with only a couple of very minor reservations which I'll put in reply to avoid spoilers for others yet to come. I wasn't as astute as Sisyphus about twigging to the nina, but that's optional. A pleasure as always.

A fair mix of plain sailing and head scratchers for me. 15d very tricky and had to check as I've not come across the device (except mentioned on one of Fez's blogs here). I was following the nina around from the top so had those letters to help me along. Acrosses were my top picks in this one - 13a, 25a, 22a, and 6a is my CoTD, thanks Gennaro. Enjoy Scotland, Mull is particularly grand at this time of year but watch out for the midges!

The usual good fun, greatly assisted by an early arrival of Nina! Faves include 10a,12a,18a, 1d,3d,15d. Some very clever surfaces too: 2d,15d,22a. 5d is quite the image! Many thanks as ever, G

Thanks Gennaro - this is one of my favorites of yours, hidden message included. For me, the top half went almost flawlessly, and the south was slower. I got 6a 15d quickly but was slow to the parse both - very nice! 12a, 13a, 22a, 24a, 1d, 2d, 5d, 8d, and 14d were other mid-solve faves. Thanks again, and (having peeked at some other comments) I hope you have the trip of a lifetime. Enjoy!
