Cryptic crossword No 368

Highly recommend this puzzle! Finding it challenging and fun. Very hard not to sing along to the super sufaces… thanks! Favourites so far 7d and 14d

Thanks for this puzzle, Piper. If you wish you can see/hear me solve this on twitch, at twitch.tv/contocrosswords - the stream lasts for about two hours I think. I enjoyed the puzzle, and thought the theme was well executed. I found it quite difficult at times (not necessarily in a bad way) so was grateful of the help I received from fellow twitchers. If you do watch/listen to the stream recording I hope it's useful.

Excellent theme and a nice mix of clues. Solved along with Conto on his stream which was fun. A few quibbles raised in the stream but all very enjoyable and some lovely clues 13A, 15A, 3D, 7D, 12D and 14D all stood out for me.

Good fun, Piper - thanks. Certainly took me back in time! I found it tricky and needed a few reveals but lots of lovely surfaces and neat wordplay. I'm sure Conto will have highlighted any quibblets that I could come up with, so I'll just mention my favourites, which were 11A, 13A (brilliant surface), 22A, 3D, 4D, 6D and 14D

Hi Piper, I’ve finally got round to solving this... very enjoyable, plenty of fun here, nice theme. Top picks for me were 1a, 17a, 21a, 28a, 4d, 14d (especially liked this one) and 20d.
