Cryptic crossword No 363

Hi Haven. Again, congrats on going with a selection of shorter solutions. Quite a lot of good clues scattered across this puzzle; a few that hark back to the old Haven with indirect anagrams or over-loose definitions and - sometimes - overly complex construction. Highlights include 9a, 19a (lovely), 24a, 6d/18a, 23d. SPOILERS IN REPLY.

Hello Haven, there’s some nice stuff here, I liked 9a, 11/16a, and 6d/18a. I’ve made some suggestions in reply.

I struggled with this for reasons mentioned by others but just wanted to say I liked the ones I did get, particularly 23d, 24d, 9a and 19a is a cracker! Nice one

29a and 25d were too clever for me; but there was a lot to enjoy in this puzzle. Favourites 11a, 16a, 13a, 24a, 4d, 5d, 15d, 17d, 20d and 21d (a lovely surface). A few quibbles in reply.
