Cryptic crossword No 3,625

Excellent stuff once again, Ben! Favorites included 11a (fooled me for a bit), 13a (well worded), 22a, 2d, 8d of course, and 9d. 1d and 23a suffer a bit from being rather tortured anagrams... 17a messed me up because I wrote in INSPECT and had to convince myself 3d couldn't work with that in the grid... 24a a fun little sneak-in to finish off the pangram ;)
