Thanks sgitf. Much of this felt like your quick cryptic style, and I most enjoyed 6a, 14a, 17a, 20a, 3d, 14d, 21d, and 27d. I stumbled a bit with 5d (good clue), and struggled with a few synonyms...

Thanks someguyinthefridge for a well-crafted crossword. As a stick shift aficionado I was drawn to your puzzle by the photo. My top picks were 9a, 20a, 24a, 16d, 25d, and 27d. My only stumble was 22d. Overall I liked your succint surfaces.

Hello! Just wanted to say - first of all - thanks for your grids. You've become a setter I look out for here as I've always liked your clues. I didn't get all the way through this one - I turned it into a 'learning exercise'... I had most of the top half, but struggled with the bottom half. Now, that may just be me, and this time. But many thanks for setting these grids, and I look forward to solving more in the near future.
