I think this is completely brilliant, great fun to solve. Love the theme and all the connecting clues. Particular favourites were 9a/7d, 24a/27a and 14d. I struggled a bit with the parsing of 16a, 5a, but having looked at the annotation it’s very clever indeed. Very minor points in reply.

This is a bit special! My stand-out favourites are 19a and 21d, but there's loads to love, both in the clues and in the cleverness of the construction. I think I'd better hide what I mean in a reply (spoilers)...

Lots of very clever stuff in this and I can see why a lot have liked it. Particular favourites: 4d, 5d, 8d, 21d, 23d but, so's not to overlook the acrosses, top prize to the splendidly conceived and executed 9a, 7d. SPOILERS IN REPLY.

Has taken me a while to get to (and through) this one. Some very clever clues and topical references: 4d, 21d, 9a, 23d, 26a etc, 24a among others. I don't feel qualified to quibble with any particulars due to the extent to which it challenged and taxed my limited capacities. It was the complexity of some of the wordplay that I struggled with, but maybe that's just me...

Superb! 23d was my favourite.

Really liked 9a7d 19a 2d 21d and 23d
