Yes, for me that was quite chewy, NBW, but very enjoyable. The west pretty much all went in unassisted but I needed a few checks on the other side, which took considerably longer. I used your alternate clue for 11a - while I admire the weird surface of the original I'd never have worked it out. I particularly enjoyed 13a, 15a, 24a, 26a, 27a, 1d, 8d and 19d.
