Cryptic crossword No 3,461

Much enjoyed, Orinoco! I previously attempted the same theme (with a very similar image) but most of the commenters were unfamiliar with it. Particularly enjoyed 3d, 5d and 17d - although in the last case I believe it should be spelled Widdicombe 😊

I’m one of those commenters not really clued up on the theme but it didn’t stop me enjoying the puzzle. Some really succinct and elegant clues in here, with faves including 9a, 10a (nice surface), 18a, 5d, 7d, & 15d. Thanks Orinoco!

Good stuff, as a TM fan! Although I kept expecting to find A LIME! hidden somewhere :D
