Thanks Boznut for an excellent crossword filled with succinct, readable, and often amusing surfaces. Favourites included 6a, 24a, 2d, 9d, 16d, and 18d. I revealed 22a (didn't know 'boring person') and I couldn't parse 23a (didn't know 'Welsh lad'). All in all good fun.

Thanks Boznut. I had an interesting experience with this. My first 8 clues went in smooth as silk, and then the near inverse happened. Got there in the end and enjoyed the entire thing. I, too, struggled with 22 and 23 across. Some faves: 6a, 16d, 5d, 10a, 11a. Thanks again for the fun puzzle.
