Cryptic crossword No 3,345

An enjoyable debut puzzle Spam, thanks. First thought is that it would be nice if you'd provided annotated solutions, but there are only two clues I couldn't parse (6d & 19d*), so not the end of the world. I wrote some comments in the order I solved which I'll copy pasta into a couple of spoilery replies... *parsed
