Loved this, Sisyphus. Some really excellent surfaces here. Particularly liked 19a. 1d, 5d and 8d, the latter two of which were superb.

Hi Sisyphus. I thought this was great. I'm usually an atrocious solver but must have been on your wavelength this evening. 8d was new to me but so elegantly clued it drew a laugh when I twigged it from checking letters. Loved that you managed to get puns and homophones into longer clues and, on top of those already mentioned by Orinoco, I really enjoyed 18d.

Hi Sisyphus, I've been absent for a few weeks so it's pleasing to return to a very nice puzzle from you. Plenty of your trademark witty innovations to be chewed over but only really held up by a few names that I didn't recognise. Favourite clues were 12a, 14a, 1d and 8d.

Thanks Sisyphus for a challenging crossword. I arrived at every solution except for the nho 13a. I enjoyed it quite a bit with my top picks being 11a, 19a, 22a, and 3d. I needed your notes for some of the parsings but I not exactly an A-level solver 😄
