Another great puzzle Gennaro. Beautifully honed, nothing strained, a real work of art. I got so caught up in solving the clues I forgot all about the nina. Well done for keeping it discreet- and reminding us of a powerful writer. Special mention for 6a, 9a, 14a, 18a, 10d, & 21d - and for leaving a couple of scraps for the spoiler jackal!

Very nice! I found this far easier than some of your recents, but I may just have not been attempting it while tired! Excellent Nina and timely, but I didn't need her help as it happened. Faves include: 7a (very clever), 11a,12a,15a,2d,13d,16d (Fabulous surface/solution interplay). Thanks, G

Great stuff, Gennaro - right in my comfort zone! The nina helped me get the last couple. COTD 18a. Also liked 4d, 16d and 21d. I thought at first that the def for 8d should have been singular but it turns out that's because I didn't know the precise meaning of the word!

Hi Gennaro, another excellent puzzle with lovely smooth surfaces, I like the more succinct ones with clever constructions, not too tricky. New to me in this one is the abbreviation in 25a. I think my favourite is 6a - a great opener and I prefer fun surfaces, also 21d is very nice and 11a, 14a, 12a, 20a, 4d. Thank you.

Thanks Gennaro! 6a was artful, as was 18a. Loved 4d of course and 17d truly well composed. And the Nina was wonderful, I have memories of reading it in high school.

Thanks, Gennaro. Glad to see this was streamed today on Cryptic Sunday, and I imagine everyone there enjoyed it. Great surfaces overall, and some of my favorite clues were 11a, 15a, 18a (surface!), 24a, 5d, 13d, 22d. 25d was also tricky for me. Thanks again Gennaro yet another fun puzzle.

Watched the replay of this on CS. Very enjoyable as always. I don't know how you keep coming up with the ideas! Thanks. PM

Thanks Gennaro, I did an earlier one of yours too but kind of too late to comment on that one. Still, you have to be quick here to be an early commenter on your puzzles - a testament to quality. I enjoyed 6a (cheeky), 11a, 18a, 5d & 16d among others. Not so familiar with the nina, so that didn't help me for once. An enjoyable breakfast solve - now back to work!
