Really enjoyed this one - thank you. I'm impressed by how many theme words you managed to fit in!

Excellent theme and so much packed in! Nice one. I had a mild quibble in 23a as wondered if ‘the’ was extraneous, but really enjoyed the clue, and also thought 2d might have been fairer as ‘part of church’ or something more precise. I especially enjoyed the definitions in 13a and 24a - both made me smile(y) - and other favourites were 30a and 5d. 10a was a new word for me! Thanks Hecate ☺️
