Thanks, ALP. That was tough for me (I'm not a hugely experienced solver) - about a quarter of it was beyond me. A few I really enjoyed included 1d, 16a (superb - COTD), 25a, 29a. Quite a few went in unparsed and of those there are a few (10a, 19a, 22a, 26a) that I'd never have worked out myself in a million years, although your explanations were clear.

Pleased to meet you Alp! Lots to chew over and appreciate here, particularly as I don’t mind a few homophones in the mix 😊 Faves included 1a, 9a, 13a, 28a, 29a, 1d (cheeky insertion forgiven!) 3d, 4d, 14d, & 17d. ‘Lion’s share of’ and ‘spit it out’ noted for future use. Many thanks. PS below…

Hi Alp - thanks for this workout - very pleased I joined the live solve to help me through a few of the trickier ones. Top three for me I think are 4d, 14d and 11a. Cheers!

Cracking puzzle, ALP, thanks. You won’t be surprised to learn that I found it very tough and need a few reveals with 8 left to go. 20a, 22a, 26a and 18d were the four I was furthest from working out and needed your notes to parse. Favourites: 1a, 11a, 3d, 4d, 7d, 8d (good shout not to include in an Indy submission!), 14d and 27d.

A wickedly clever and tricky puzzle that I have just watched on CS catch up. Glad I did because I would have needed a fair amount of help. But very funny, very devious, very good and *very* ALP. 27d is COTD with 16a, 23a, 29a 3d, 18d, 22d also contenders.
