That was fun! Glad I paid attention to the SI. Very hard to pick faves, but 1a (COTD), 15a,20a,24a, and 1d,7d,18d,26d (delicious def) stood out

One of those puzzles that sticks in the mind for both the idea and execution. Lovely to have it here for reference. I'm fascinated to know how you filled it, and how many false starts it took.
