Looks like I’m the welcoming party! So welcome aboard Beak - and with a very nice debut crossword. Generally a good mix of sound clueing with some neat surfaces. I particularly liked 8a, (12a), 20a, 4d, 5d and 19d. Refreshing to have some contemporary references, and ok by me to have one Americanism balanced by one for Londoners. Only real quibble was with the definition in 26a. Thanks for the fun!

Some feedback, FWIW. A few of your definitions do not fairly *define* the answer, instead the answer is an *example* of the definition. To make these clues fairer, you should indicate this stretchiness with a "perhaps" or a question mark, etc. You did this with 12a, but probably should have also done so for 13a, 25a, 3d, 14d+9a. I take issue with your justification for 22a - the title is used exclusively prior to marriage. Generally enjoyed the wordplay otherwise, some surfaces need some polish.
