Thanks Cigogne for a very good crossword with many easy-to-read surfaces. My favourites were 7a, 19a, 4d, 8d (COTD), 15d, and 20d. I used the 'guess-then-check' method to get the nho 12a and I needed your notes to understand 14a and 15a but these were minor bumps in an otherwise enjoyable solve.

Hi Cigogne, lovely clues but I was defeated in the north east with the cunning misdirections 6d, 9a and 14a so well done! Lots to enjoy along the way especially 11a, 19a, 8d, 15d & 18d. Thanks
