Cryptic crossword No 3,058

Thanks Cigogne for an approachable, well-crafted crossword. Favourites included 10a, 3d, 4d, 17d, and 21d. I revealed 23a and needed your notes to understand 13a and 18a but all else went in without a struggle. One quibble in reply.

Thanks Cigogne for this challenge. It took a while for me to get on your wavelength but then most of the answers dropped in pretty well. I particularly liked 6a, 11a, 19a, 4d and 24d.

This was great Cigogne, at the gentler end of your spectrum, but none the worse for that. I enjoyed 7a, 17a, 18a, 3d, 4d, 22d especially. Thanks ... spoiler ...
