Cryptic crossword No 2,935

Welcome to MyCrossword. Some very good clues here, my personal favourites being 1a, 13a (when I read the explanation), 18a, 22a, 1d. There were two or three unfamiliar words, but the wordplay for them is clear, so you are playing fair by the solver.
