Very nice indeed. Quite tough, but worth it - 27A especially made me work hard, but it was a lovely, satisfying PDM.

I'm continuing my slow catch-up of puzzles that have happened while I've not been paying attention (will take a while). This one is great. Lovely surfaces throughout, nice disguise, and a few definitions designed to make you think. Faves weirdly adjacent: 2d, 3d, 4d, 5d, 6d, 7d, 8d. Loads of other elegant treatments too.
