Cryptic crossword No 2,899

With my puzzle of a month ago being a re-publication of a Bedrock puzzle, this is actually the first one I've written for MyC since August! Longest gap since I started, I think.

Very enjoyable, PM - I was glad I avoided the possible bear-trap in 10d, but eventually I tore myself away from the tempting word with a different middle letter. 13a, 9a, and 2d were my picks.

1d is outrageous, 2d supercool (LOI), 16a, 21a, 29a, 6d, and many others to enjoy…

Thanks PostMark for an excellent set of clues with my favourites being 7a, 9a, 11a, 13a, 28a, 4d, 5d, & 17d. I struggled a bit in the NW but oddly enough half of my favourites came from that quadrant. (Funny how that works.) I needed your notes to understand 14d; luckily I had the crossers to guide my guess. Nice to get a puzzle from you.

Super puzzle, lovely slick surfaces with some crafty WP. A bit tricky in places with a few easier clues to help it along. Nho the cat ref - had to look that up! Standouts; 1d, 2d, 3d, 5d, 22d, 7a, 9a, 25a, 27a, 28a, thank you PM

Very good thanks PM. All the usual well-crafted surfaces and tricky defs/synonyms. I thought I was going to struggle bigly but in the end I only had to cheat a little in the SE. Favourites: 7a, 13a, 21a, 2d, 4d, 10d and 14d.
