Very nice (and very clever) Henri! Only the parsing of 9a escaped me. Favourites were 6a, 18a, 23a, 12d, 13d, 18d and 24d

As for yogdaws, the parsing of 9a escaped me. Not sure I recognised every themer for what it was but it all makes sense with your notes. 14a, 23a, 2d, 4d and 25d were my faves. Thanks. PM

Thanks Henri for an enjoyably clever crossword. My FOI, 16a, clued me into what was happening and I went from there. Favourites included 8a, 28a, 29a, 5d, and 18d. I couldn't parse my correct guesses for 6a & 9a. More in reply.

Ta bigly, for a hugely enjoyable — and challenging — grid. Got within three of the end, but defeated by 6a, 11a and 22d. But no disgrace in that, I think. looking forward to your next . . .
