Thanks tpg. While the theme was way beyond my orbit I enjoyed the crossword nonetheless. My podium: 11a, 7d, and 15d. I did reveal 25a & 13d, both apparently dropped from my memory. More in reply

Nice! FOI: 2d. Faves: 11a, 14a. And as an alum of 12a, its cleverness gave me the feels. I'm doing something more or less like this in my next puzzle. Thanks!!

Good fun for the CS stream, thanks TPG. No need for any comments from me as you've already seen them, but I must add that the tearjerker was superb and made me laugh out loud.

Lovely stuff TPG, impressively themed (though a nho for me, enjoyable nonetheless of course) and a podium going to 10d (smooth), 17d (creative) and 21d (I like when this device is employed more inventively)
